DISCLAIMER: My review is based on the Large Print edition of this novel, which was the only one I could find at my local library today. The story was amazingly written, with so much more emotion in the characters than would be possible in a movie. It could have been great, except for two things: 1) What was with that long dedication to Kingsbury's husband and kids at the beginning? It's a nice gesture, to be sure, but that's a little too personal for a nationally published book. 2) I understand authors and their editors are only human, but one typo in this book was glaring: "He sang _This Moment_ from Jeckyl and Hyde." Two problems: One, the song is called "This IS THE Moment" and the musical is _JEKYLL & Hyde_, just like the classic novel it's based on. I'm only somewhat of a Broadway musical fan, and I know that. Two, song titles should be put in quotes, and titles of plays (or musicals) should by italicized or underlined. That may have just been a defect in the Large Print edition, though.
