Strangers From the Sky
Despite being prevalent in science fiction and fantasy novels, the "alternate timeline" device is hard to pull off and often leads to confusion. That said, Ms. Bonanno pulled this off quite well. There was a bit more profanity than I'm used to in these books, but it was still a good read. I especially loved the nods to Isaac Asimov and Carl Sagan.
