Indiana Jones and the Unicorn's Legacy

Indiana Jones and the Unicorn's Legacy - Rob MacGregor I'll admit it: I'm not a big fan of the "Indiana Jones" films. One viewing of "Raiders of the Lost Ark" was enough to make me shy away from the remaining movies. However, since I often find books to be better than their television and/or cinematic counterparts, I decided to give some of the "Jones" books a try. This one, among the few I've read, was actually quite good. Although the story is primarily about the mythical creatures known as unicorns, it actually does delve into Biblical history, a la "Last Crusade". Even though I'm a long-time reader of the Word, I didn't know prior to reading this that the King James Version of the Bible mentions unicorns. I actually looked it up on my iPad Bible app, and, there it was. The only complaint I have about the novel is that it had one or two uses of profane terms. Of course, there was some violence, but that's to be expected from the film series that essentially instituted the "PG-12" rating. If you've like watching and/or reading Indy's adventures, you'll probably like this.
