Frankly, I'm not 100% sure what to think of "Nightfall". On one hand, it was an excellently written account of another planet's Armageddon; at the same time, it could be taken as an attack on the Christian faith, especially with numerous derogatory references to "the book of Revelations," which sounds far too similar to the Biblical book of Revelation. If I didn't know what Asimov's spiritual beliefs were, I wouldn't be so quick to assume the latter...but I do, so I must. If you can ignore the potential Christian-bashing, this is a good read.
