Thin Air
I've read some of husband/wife writing duo Kristine Kathryn Rusch and Dean Wesley Smith's novels before, and, while most of them at least passable, they didn't match up to other married co-authoring teams such as Bodie and Brock Thoene or Judith and Garfield Reeves-Stevens. This one, though, was really good. It's shorter than the other books in the "New Earth" series, but the writing style is great, and the story is quite good. I'm looking forward to see what happens in the finale.
