Although this book may be fiction, the issues it deals with are very real. Disputes between family members are more than just sitcom punchlines; in real life, they can make people miserable. This story may not have been happy, since it has themes such as death and familial dysfunction, but it still pulled me in, and I almost finished it in one sitting. It was also grounded in biblical principles. Books like this are what Christian fiction is all about.
