First Rider's Call: Green Rider #2

First Rider's Call: Green Rider #2 - Kristen Britain Although I have always been a big fan of all different hues, I've preferred the color green over all the others for quite a while. I even preferred Luigi over Mario in "Super Mario Bros.", because Luigi wore my favorite color. DC Comics' Green Lantern's unique superpower is made even cooler because of the color he wears. So, being a fan of green as well as fantasy novels, Kristen Britain's "Green Rider" series naturally appeals to me. It's been a while since I read the prequel, but I can say that "First Rider's Call" was very well-written and a great medieval fantasy. There was a scene or two that was rather creepy, but sexual content and profanity were practically non-existent. I do want to warn you, though: If you do decide to read this and/or the first novel, "Green Rider," be prepared to invest a lot of time in it. I'm normally a fast reader, but I started "First Rider's Call" on Tuesday, and just finished it a few minutes ago. At almost 600 pages, it's quite a tome, but it's worth it if you're a fantasy lover.
