Thunder of Heaven: A Joshua Jordan Novel (End Series, The)

Thunder of Heaven: A Joshua Jordan Novel (End Series, The) - Tim Lahaye;Craig Parshall The destruction of our home planet has been all over the media throughout the past several years. From the British sci-fi parody romp "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy," to the Mayan-inspired blockbuster "2012," to the juvenile novel turned kiddie flick "The City of Ember," to the best-selling apocalyptic "Left Behind" franchise...it's been everywhere. "Thunder of Heaven" is yet another entry in the doomsday genre. It's actually quite stylistically similar to James Patterson's page-turners; just done in a better way. The intensity in this novel felt very real. I don't agree with this book theologically, but it still makes for excellent reading. Of course, you'd have read the first book, "Edge of Apocalypse," to understand this one, but it's definitely worth it.
