I don't know how to say this without coming off as a jerk: This is easily one of the worst, if not the worst, Christian fiction works I've ever read. The writing style is readable, but the problem is the inane plot, which is based on some legend that was supposedly hinted at by Jesus. (I say "supposedly" because "The Immortal" says so, but, after looking it up in my own Bible, it didn't sound anything like what this book made it out to be.) The whole thing sounded like something out of a badly made movie. As much as I like Christian fiction, I just can't recommend this one.
