"Clone Codes" is the first book in a series, and it definitely feels like it. This novel's cliffhanger ending and unanswered questions will leave many readers wanting more. The story is well-written and fast-paced, and it illustrates the old saying of Winston Churchill: "Those who do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it." At the same time, the formatting was a bit too decorative for my tastes, and there were some typos, although those may have been because the copy I read was an uncorrected proof. If you like young adult fiction, you'd probably like this.
