I'm definitely a city boy; out of my 23.5 years on this planet, I've probably spent 200 hours at most in a rural area. I have nothing against those who live in the country; it's just different from what I'm used to doing. "Gone to Green" chronicles a young big-city girl/newspaper editor's journey into small-town Louisiana, and, as a portrait of a twenty-something in a "fish out of water" scenario, it excels. However, some crude references, which seemed really out of place for a Christian novel, prevents this from being perfect. If you've read and enjoyed "inspirational" stories about country life before, you might like this one.
