Apocalypse Unleashed: The Earth's Last Days: The Battle Rages On (Left Behind Military)

Apocalypse Unleashed: The Earth's Last Days: The Battle Rages On - Mel Odom I'm not a fan of the original "Left Behind" series, because I don't care for Jerry Jenkins' writing style, but the spin-off novels, including Mel Odom's "Apocalypse" quadrilogy, of which "Unleashed" is the finale, are quite good. It's been a while since I've read the three prequel novels, but I remember most of what happened in them, and this continues the story quite well. This book is noticeably shorter than the other three, and it does suffer a bit. I would have liked to see more of Megan, Joey and the kids, since that plot thread helped make parts one through three as good as they were. I don't want to give away the ending's details, but I will say that it will leave you wanting to read more. On the plus side, Mel Odom's writing was great, as always.
