This may sound weird coming from a guy, but I absolutely loved Janice Thompson's "Weddings by Bella" trilogy. Naturally, when I saw "Gone With the Groom," which is one of her earlier works, at my local used bookstore, I picked it up right away. Now that I've finally gotten around to reading it, I can honestly say that Thompson has joined my list of favorite authors. Her first-person prose flows so well, and it also provides an engaging (not to mention involving) story. I look forward to reading more of Ms. Thompson's works in the future.
