Star Trek: Destiny: Gods of Night

Gods of Night - David Mack This was an enjoyable "Star Trek" novel, aside from one plot point. This might be somewhat of a spoiler, and it deals with a sensitive topic, so, be warned: I know a miscarriage is a tragic thing and very hard to accept, and I may not have two "X" chromosomes, but, for the life of me, I can't see why any woman would risk her life by keeping a dead child inside her. However, that is just what Counselor Troi does in this novel. Maybe books two and/or three will make sense of that; I don't know. If you can forgive that, then "Gods of Night" is a good read.
