Mixed Bags (Carter House Girls, Book 1)

Mixed Bags - Melody Carlson You might find it weird that a 23-year-old guy would be reading a book about a girls' boarding house, but being raised without another male in your household does things to you. Anyway, this was a moderately fun, easily breezed through young adult novel. Although Christian faith and morals are discussed in this novel, most of the characters seem to do with moral situations what Tim "The Tool Man" Taylor did with household improvement projects: show what NOT to do. If young girls can look at it through that lens, then it would be okay for them. I'm slightly interested to see what will happen next, but I can't guarantee I'll read the whole series; something like this feels like it would get old quite fast.
