The Road Home; Hadassah & The Hadassah Covenant

The Road Home; Hadassah & The Hadassah Covenant - Tommy Tenney;Mark Andrew Olson From what I've read online, this novel is widely considered to be a classic Christian novel, up there with Frank Peretti's "This Present Darkness" and C. S. Lewis' "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe". However, I didn't find "Hadassah: One Night With the King" to be near as great as those novels. The story is passable, but the whole reading experience just felt completely lackluster. Much like the Jim Carrey "Grinch" movie did to the original Dr. Seuss book, this book spent more time expanding on the Bible story than actually telling it. If you're a big fan of the story of Esther, this might be worth a read, but, if not, I can't recommend it.
