Pride and Prescience: Or, A Truth Universally Acknowledged
Let's get this out of the way: I have never read any of Jane Austen's works, nor have I seen any movies based on them. That said, this book was still enjoyable, especially considering that I only paid twenty cents for it (no joke.) There were a few profanities, but, I will warn you that if you find the word "bloody" offensive, there is a scene in this novel where a character uses it eight times in a row. This book is decidedly different from my usual reading material, but that's not a bad thing.
