The Lights of Tenth Street
This book is a real page-turner, especially at the end. I do have to warn you, though: The novel also deals quite candidly with sexual temptation, especially that involving pornography and lust, as well as drunkenness and misuse of drugs. It was written from a Christian standpoint, so those things were vilified like the sins the Bible says they are, but if you don't like reading about those topics at all, then I'd suggest you steer clear of this one.
