Prodigy

Prodigy - Dave Kalstein The plot of this novel is decidedly strange, but Alton Gansky makes it work really well. The ending did feel a bit disappointing; I don't want to give it away, but I will say it was a textbook case of a deus ex machina. Although this is a good novel, if you've never read any of Mr. Gansky's novels before, I suggest starting with "Distant Memory" or "Dark Moon," both of which are much better than "The Prodigy."
