Chainmail (Gateways, Book 2)
This was a very fun series, but, as they say, all good things must come to an end. As I always say. you should read the books in order, but it's definitely worth it. I've immensely enjoyed all six books, including this one. All "Star Trek" fans should check "New Earth" out.
