Rejoice (Redemption)

Rejoice - Karen Kingsbury, Gary Smalley Of all the Karen Kingsbury novels I've read, this one was the hardest to get through. That sounds like an insult, but it isn't; Kingsbury's writing was as good as ever. The reason "Rejoice" was difficult to get through is because it deals with a brain injury, which is something I know about all too well. I don't want to ramble on and on, because this isn't a blog post, but let's just say I had an immediate family member who was severely disabled because of a brain injury from birth. I almost cried during parts of "Rejoice" because it hit very close to home. It was still a good read, though, and I look forward to reading the final installment in this series.
